We finally loaded a base map into the brand new AEM EMS, and it fired right up! Internally stock GM LSA crate motor with a smaller S/C pulley and 2″ Stainless Works long-tube headers, sounds fantastic

Took the JefeS14 out for it’s first RB25-powered drift event at the National Orange Show speedway in Fontana, CA last weekend… The event was put on by Ernie (DTC Performance) and the Slide Assassins, and was fantastic! Drifting under the lights throughout the night was incredible, and the 5-car tandem pulled of by the Slide Assassins was epic! The JefeS14 was still not running at 100% (ignition breakup under high load that none of us were able to diagnose that day), but I was still able to get some pictures and have a ton of fun.

Jordan Innovations will be doing all the electrical work for Conrad Grunewald’s GM-sponsored 2010 Camaro drift car! I just returned from 4 days of work at Luke Lonberger’s location in Los Gatos, CA on the car, and every single aspect of this build is TOP NOTCH!
From the 6.2L supercharged LSA powerplant that GM Performance Parts has provided (they actually gave them two!) to Luke’s Cro-Moly roll cage, to full carbon fiber bodywork from Seibon, this car is done right! The wiring harness had to be fabricated in it’s entirety – the crate motor came with pigtails off the sensors/coilpacks/injectors and that’s about it. Moreover, instead of using the OEM Powertrain Control Module, Conrad is using a new AEM EMS unit which is electrically very different in design and capabilities.
Using parts of an AEM-supplied harness and MIL-W-22759 wire, we constructed and loomed the harness using flame-retardant and abrasion-resistant loom and adhesive heat shrink, terminating in an Amphenol MIL-C-5015 circular connector. The rest of the electrical system consists of Bussman panel-mount circuit breakers powering heavy duty toggle switches for the rest of the systems, and a OMP SCCA-legal 6-pole cutoff mounted on the firewall.

Luke Lonberger (www.blu808.com), Andrew Bohan (www.laboratory17.com), and Brian (from Wheel Works) came down from San Jose with Luke’s Turbo-LS1-powered S14 this weekend for the Megan Invitational on Saturday, and stayed for the El Toro Drift Day on Sunday… epic!
Big ups to Luke for placing 5th in competition Saturday among some serious drivers, just inches away from the “money” spots. Great driving, and the car was working well (except for needing traction in the rear). Luke’s car will be sporting Jordan Innovations/Blu808 Lower Control Arms and my heim joints in the near future (as will my JefeS14), so I’ll be sure to keep updates coming on that!

At Jordan Innovations, we recognize the need for high quality heim joints at affordable prices – whether you have quality, name-brand arms and just need some replacement bushigns, or want to save hundreds of dollars by using a cheaper set of arms with our joints, we’ve got you covered! We keep most common metric sized male heim joints (spherical ball bearings/bushings) in stock, as well as misalignment bushings (commonly referred to as “spacers”) and locking hardware!
If you’ve purchased a set of suspension arms from Ebay, Megan Racing, Godspeed, Circuit Sports, or any number of other “cheap”, “knock-off” sources, chances are you’ve got thin-walled tubing, connected by welds that are barely passable, holding the cheapest heim joints available – but don’t worry! Because the suspension arms aren’t subject to much off-axis loading, you can get very similar performance to “name-brand” arms by simply replacing the heims with our units!
The specs of each heim vary with sizing, but every single one is top quality, built to the same specs as Aurora/QA1/FK/etc – directly comparable to the heims from those top manufacturers, for a fraction of the price! Unlike the heims that come in “knock-off” suspension arm kits, ours are chrome or zinc plated so they’ll never rust, have hard chrome balls so they’ll never get pitted (which eats away the bearing race, leading to advanced wear), have Teflon races so they’re mainenance free! Never worry about greasing a Zerk fitting! We also include chrome lock nuts and lock washers, and can include Seals-it rod end boots to make sure the heim stays clean in any environment.
